GARY VOELKER

Battalion Commander

Hi, my name is Cadet Master Sergeant Gary Voelker and I’m the Battalion Commander here at Barron Collier. As the BNCO I am ultimately responsible for everything that happens or does not happen in the battalion; I set the standards and direction for my unit. I supervise and provide guidance to my Staff and Company Commanders to ensure that all battalion operations are executed efficiently. In addition, I serve as the link between all cadets and the Army Instructors as well as advising the Instructors on all Cadet matters. Ultimately, I am the overseer of the Battalion and am responsible for the success of anything that we do.

Hi, my name is Cadet Master Sergeant Julian Romero. I take control of the battalion when the Battalion Commander is absent. I am responsible for everything the battalion staff succeeds or fails to do. I do all the accounting for battalion fundraisers, impure events in to JUMS, and mediate tension among staff

Battalion Adjutant Officer (S-1)

Hello! I am Cadet Captain Christine O'Brien. I am the Battalion Adjutant Officer. This means I am in charge of inputing award orders into JUMS, planning the Awards Ceremony and Banquet, and calling certain commands at the Review Ceremony.

Battalion Security Officer (S-2)

Hello, my name is Staff Sergeant Danielle Fontella, and as S-2 my job is to keep track of everything in the Arms Room. I am in charge of conducting a monthly inventory of all weapons and any sensitive items that are held in the Arms Room. The S-2 works very closely with the AI, Chief Medina, to make sure all rifles are functioning.

I am Cadet Captain Marquis Hilaire. I am known as the Battalion Operations Officer, pleasure to make your acquaintance. As the S3, I ensure that every activity we participate in is apprived by the district with permission slips, operations orders, and risk assessments. I look forward to working alongside you all.
